    I’m a local, I live and work on the Mornington Peninsula and have done since 1973, I know the ‘best’ places.

    We will start with sunrise at a pier and work our way to and through the beautiful Mornington Peninsula Hinterland, photographing as we go and then head back to the beach to photograph the beach boxes, piers and fauna.

    Then we will finish at our studio in Rosebud for an editing class – so that you can learn how to get the most from your days photo shoot – or if you’re not interested in Lightroom/editing – we will stay out shooting for an extra hour.

    It’s a full day – dawn to early afternoon (dependent on time of the year)

    Knowing how to create a Depth of field in a photograph is a skill and it’s easier to learn than you might think.

    This workshop will teach you how to create a ‘shallow’ depth of field – that is: the subject is sharp and the background is blurred.

    Creating a shallow depth of field is learning how to separate the subject from the background by making the background blurry

    This workshop will hone your photographic skills to learn how to create a depth of field – depth of field is addictive and once you master it, you will have learnt one of the most used and popular photographic creative skills.
