This is our most popular workshop in New Zealand and promises a captivating blend of photography tuition with a perfect landscape.

This workshop is tailored for YOU?  All you need to think about is learning, and taking great photos in this beautiful landsape.

We'll start and finish in the adventure capital of Queenstown and then make our way to South Island's finest locations including: Lake Tekapo, Mt Cook, Wanaka, Arrowtown, Milford Sound.

You may start a beginner at photography or already have skills, but after 6 days you will finish with photography skills that would normally take months to learn.

This is a 'women' only workshop - run by Women for Women!

The Workshop

The only thing you need to think about is which lens to use for the next amazing vista, but of course Derry will be providing advice to help you out with this!

 Derry and Caro will take care of everything else, travel, accommodation, breaksfast / dinner, all entries to parks, adventures and experiences.

This is a trip about YOU and your passion for photography. 

Women only Workshop - Run by Women for Women!

Caro is our chauffeur and organiser, and Derry is your photography teacher. 

We'll be photographing every day as well as some sunrise, sunset and night shoots, you will also get some free time during the day to relax and review your pictures.

Our tours have very limited numbers (6 max) so that you get the experience and the learning you need.

Day 01

April / September

Queenstown to Lake Tekapo

Starting at Queenstown we'll begin with a cuppa to get to know each other, and then we'll board the bus for our Photography Journey.

Fear not, we don't believe in spending hour upon hour confined in this space, you can be sure that we'll stopping along the way so that you get the opportunity to enjoy the scenery and start taking some fantastic photos!

Day 02

April / September

Lake Tekapo to Aoraki-Mount Cook

Leaving Tekapo well stop off at the Mount John Observatory for the breath taking views across Lake Tekapo.

Our overnight stay is at the majestic Mt Cook.

Day 03

April / September

Mount Cook to Wanaka

Before we leave Mt Cook we'll enjoy a morning photography shoot before jumping back on the bus to head to Wanaka.

Let's enjoy a peaceful cuirse on Lake Wanaka to Stevensons Island, with the beautiful mountainous backdrop.

Day 04

April / September

Wanaka to Queenstown

Kawarau Bridge - You'll learn about 'continuous shooting' here

Bungy Jumping - not included, but we're happy to watch you ... and photograph!

Arrowtown - Beautiful tree lined streets

Chinese gold mining settlement

Then back to Queenstown for our last 2 nights.

Tonight we'll take the Skyline Gondola up Bob's Peak  for a Sunset shoot over the beautiful Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu.

Day 05

April / September

Milford Sound

Today Caro gets out of the driver's seat and we board a 'big' bus to enjoy full day travelling to Milford Sound.

We then board the boat cruise, and then maybe a snooze on the way back in the bus.

Day 06

April / September

Farm / Boat

This may be our final day, but it's still a full day, we don't advertise 6 days and just have a couple hours in the morning with you.

Today we'll board the TSS Earnslaw steam boat and cruise across Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak Homestead.  

Once here we'll enjoy a Gourmet BBQ Lunch followed by a Sheep Dog demonstration.
